Select the classes recommended for your dancer in the parent portal and complete your registration fee.

Ballet Academy Ocala
Level 1 and 2
Ballet is a joyful way for children to explore movement through music and dance. Your child will develop physical skills and learn early etiquette, all while beginning to learn basic Ballet steps. Build motor skills, balance, memory skills, counting, and learn musicality.
Level 3
Level 3 classes are for students 8-13 with foundational Ballet experience.
In these classes, students begin to learn combinations and transitional dance steps. Level 3 students will continue to learn discipline and build a strong sense of self-esteem.
Level 4
Ballet 4 is designated for students who have developed a strong understanding of Ballet and are ready to refine their technique and build dance artistry. Those who are on Pointe or are ready to begin Pointe will be invited to Pointe class.
Classical Variations
Level 4 & Up
Students will learn solo classical variations from world renowned classical ballets and work on developing their dance artistry. This class is for intermediate and advanced students Level 4-5.
Character
Level 4 and Up
Character Folk Dance is a crucial element of ballet education and performance, enriching dancers' versatility, expression, and understanding of diverse cultures. Character dance plays a vital role in Ocala Metro Ballet Theatre’s performance integrity.
Repertoire
Level 4 & Up
Students will learn iconic choreography from the historically well known classical ballets and have the opportunity to perform. Repertoire gives students the tools to confidently perform in their future dance career.
Progressive Ballet Technique
Ages 11+
Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is a strength and conditioning program designed specifically for ballet dancers. Using exercise balls, resistance bands, and targeted movement exercises, students develop core strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, and body awareness while reinforcing proper ballet alignment and muscle memory. PBT helps dancers gain a deeper understanding of how their bodies should work in ballet technique, improving stability, control, and overall performance.
Pre-Professional Program
Audition or Invitation Only
Pre-Professional Ballet is the highest level of training within the Coeur Ballet Academy curriculum, designed for dedicated dancers pursuing advanced technical and artistic development. This level emphasizes a rigorous training schedule, with the most intensive weekly hours of study, focusing on refining classical technique, strength, precision, and performance quality. Dancers work on advanced barre and center work, complex variations, pointe work, partnering, and repertoire while developing discipline, consistency, and artistic maturity. Students at this level are expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to training, personal responsibility, and professionalism as they prepare for auditions, performance opportunities, and potential careers in dance.
Adult Ballet
Beginner Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm
Ballet as an adult improves your brain function, memory, flexibility, and coordination. Our adult program offers schedule flexibility, so drop-in for our weekly adult classes when you are available! Students are encouraged to wear fitted exercise attire or ballet attire and ballet slippers.
