Ballet 1
Ages 4+

Beginner Ballet 1 is a joyful way for children to explore movement through music and dance. Your child will develop physical skills and learn early etiquette, all while beginning to learn basic Ballet steps. Ballet 1 builds motor skills, balance, memory skills, counting, and teaches musicality.

Ballet 2 & 3
Level 2 and Level 3 classes are for students 7-13 with some foundational Ballet experience.
In these classes, students begin to learn combinations and transitional dance steps. Level 2 & 3 students will continue to learn discipline and build a strong sense of self-esteem.
Ballet 4
Ballet 4 is designated for students who have developed a strong understanding of Ballet and are ready to refine their technique and build dance artistry. Those who are on Pointe or are ready to begin wearing Pointe shoes will be invited to Pointe class.
Pilates
Dance Conditioning will teach dance students to move their body in a functional way and prevent future injuries. Based on Pilates, this class teaches students how to become stable through their core muscles. This helps build a solid foundation for an injury-free dance career.
Variations
Level 4 & Pre-Professional Program

Students will learn solo choreography from world renowned classical ballets and work on developing their dance artistry.

Modern
Level 4 & Pre-Professional Program
​
In Modern, students will learn how to incorporate strong core technique of ballet with abstract movements to portray ideas and emotions.
Repertoire
Level 2 & 3
​
Students will learn iconic choreography from the historically well known classical ballets and have the opportunity to perform.
Contemporary
Contemporary is a style of dance that combines classical ballet with modern dance to create new and different movements. Students will get the opportunity to learn famous works from world renowned contemporary ballet choreographers.
Pre-Professional Program
Audition or Invitation Only

The pre-professional program is for highly dedicated students 10+ who wish to pursue a professional dance career in their future. Pre-Professional students will have access to unlimited classes at CBA and participate in monthly workshops. Pre-Professional students are expected to act as ambassadors for CBA and to be excellent role models for fellow students in our youth program. Whether you danced growing up or this is your first time dancing as an adult, join us for Beginner and Intermediate adult ballet class! This is a moderate paced class that will get you sweating. Ballet as an adult improves your brain function, memory, flexibility, and coordination.
Adult Coeur Barre
Thursday 11am-12pm
​
Join us for Coeur Barre! This class takes you through a series of exercises pertaining to Pilates, Calisthenics, and Ballet. This class promotes mobility and strength of all the major muscle groups in the body in a balanced fusion. This class will strengthen your core, work a sweat, and stabilize your muscles for an overall better balance and energy in your daily life.
Step 1
Book a free level placement class in our youth program and receive your level placement for the season. Level placement is based on student's level of experience and age. Students and their parents will meet the instructor and fellow classmates, and get a look inside Coeur Ballet Academy's quality dance training and atmosphere.
Step 2
Congratulations, your dancer has been placed! Select the classes recommended for your dancer in the parent portal and complete your registration.
Step 3
Receive an invitation to shop at our exclusive online uniform store. Your dancer will be assigned a leotard color based on level. Choose from different styles, tights, shoes, skirts, warm ups, and more!
